What is the best method for adding custom color to the range slider for the zoomable axes? Appears to be tied to jQuery ui css, is there anyway to give it a special class or do it via ASP.NET?

yes, the colors come from jQuery ui css.

You can switch to any theme from here:
http://jqueryui.com/themeroller/
